Feather Extensions
We offer Fine Featherheads brand as well as other quality Whiting and Metz feathers. Our feather extensions consists of single feather extensions or extensions made of several feathers bonded at the tip to create one extension. The feathers are real. No two feathers are the same - they vary in shape, size and slight color variations and will be unique. We have mixes of thin and thick feathers so they blend nicely in the hair. We apply them to the hair using a silicone lined micro link that won't damage your hair. Feathers come in a full spectrum of colors—natural to playful and wild—and a variety of lengths, from 3 to 16 inches.
Feather extensions and re installations are done by appointment only. We book about 15 minutes for this service. Please arrive about 10 minutes prior to your appointment to view or select your feathers. Feel free to come by just to see what's in and if we have the colors you are looking for prior to making your appointment.

Please note: Because of the high demand for feather extensions not all colors and lengths will be available at all times. Supply varies according to season and availability from manufacturers. We shop for our feathers regularly to maintain our stock. Natural colors are generally in stock.

# Q: How long do they last?
# A: The installation will last in your hair 2-4 months, depending on your care. The extensions require maintenance as the hair grows out. The feathers are 100% reusable and can be used over and over again! Reinstallation is from $3.00 per feather extension.
# Q: Is there special care required?
# A: You can wash, brush, blow dry, straighten and curl (up to 400°) just as you would with your hair. Just be gentle when brushing at the root! Once the feathers are installed they are your responsibility. The feathers may break, just like real hair, if not treated with care.
# Q: What effects do chlorine and salt water have on the feathers?
# A: The feathers will respond to chlorine and salt water like your natural hair would; they may naturally fade, depending on exposure to these conditions.
# Q: Will the dye in the feathers bleed?
# A: Because the dyes are all natural, they may occasionally bleed onto lighter feathers. But don’t worry—the dyes are safe! In rare circumstances, the dye can stain skin or clothing—for example, the first time you wash the feathers in your hair. Just be sure to allow your hair to dry the first time you wash the feathers! Most feathers are dyed with an organic, mineral-based dye. Because these dyes are all natural, they may fade over time .

# A: The feathers are washed with a 100% biodegradable, inert detergent.
Bling Tinsel
Hair Tinsel- Many fun colors to choose from. These strands can be flat ironed, curled (up to 350 degrees) and washed just as regular hair. They are tied into a few strands of your hair. Great to pair with feathers!
